Hi, I’m Kathleen!
I’m so glad you came by. Yes, I’m a Christian, and I started Hello Encourage in 2021 out of two places. First, I have dreamed about designing and selling products since high school. Second, I began Hello Encourage out of obedience to God. I learned in college that one of my spiritual gifts is encouragement. Since college, I’ve gone through the journey of what that means and how to live that out. At times, it’s pretty easy. Other times, I have found it challenging. I recognize that words have power. Words can bring life, and words can bring death. I choose to bring life with my words.
Yes, some products will have a faith component and others will not. I, too, am on a spiritual journey. If you aren’t sure about Jesus, that’s okay. I will, from time to time, point you to Jesus, but ultimately, it’s your decision. Regardless of where you stand with faith, know that I want you to be encouraged. I want you to know that I care about your well-being. I desire to design products that bring positivity into your life no matter where you are at or what you believe. I also create products you can give to the people in your life so they can also experience something positive. I even design products for fun or just because. I want us to have fun too! 🙂 I try to incorporate elements of things I love into my designs, like coffee, smiley faces, the outdoors, places I’ve traveled to, hearts, and so much more.
What’s the story with the Hello Encourage Logo?
I took components of my personal logo and experimented with no real goal. Then I saw the symbol you see today, and the results work! I love how the Hello Encourage logo symbolizes how we can reach out to others no matter what is going on and offer a kind word. Sometimes, a kind word symbolizes warmth and care. I chose yellow because encouraging words make someone’s day brighter. I also wanted the yellow to draw attention to what we are doing to stand out in the crowd. We aren’t trying to blend into the background. We are trying to make people’s days better. So, why not stand out?!
Where is Hello Encourage based out of?
Hello Encourage is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Yes, we love Texas, too. From time to time, we will participate in local DFW events. We would love to meet you in person, and sometimes, we will even sell products only available for purchase in person.
